Spurred by AEG, the owner of the Home Depot Center, the city of Carson is cracking down on hot dog vendors. AEG security guards have been chasing them off of the stadium grounds, but only recently has the city had the authority to cite the vendors while they stand on state property. City officials hope to eliminate them entirely, but some diehard soccer fans say that would destroy a part of the culture of L.A. soccer.
